The crowd starts twitching just a little when the bass and drums clutch into the 1st groove.

Everybody starts looking up to see where the wall of sound is coming from. Your feet are tapping, you're starting to think that this isn't just another night of live music, and then you hear some singing!

Everybody looks up to see where that voice is coming from, and nobody can believe it.

You keep looking back at the stage when you hear that guitar screaming out. That band is jumping into the meat of the tune and you start counting the guys on stage: 1 drummer, 1 bass player, 1 guitar/singer. Where is it all coming from?

Austin Fire Blues: Roll up your sleeves and have another drink, cause we're comin' in to see if you love the blues enough to let us know about it.

Austin Fire is a three man blues force blowing out of Eastern Ontario. We've got a lot to say in our original songs written in the language of "Red Hot Texas Blues".

We love to play with a tip of the glass to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, Colin James, Muddy Waters, George Thorogood, Buddy Guy, Wilson Picket, Jimi Hendrix, Kenny Wayne Shepperd, Freddie King, John Lee Hooker,

Austin Fire fell together on a whim playing homage to the great guitar slingers of the recent past, but in exploring and pursuing the many avenues that run off of the main street we call the blues, we have found and captured a fusion of heavy funk, Blue Hard Rock, neo hip country , hard scrappin' Texas Blues with a scraping of reggae out of the bottom of the bowl. All this to give the audience more than they expect every night.

Austin Fire has played many great shows, including opening for Tony D., Georgette Fry, and Trevor Finlay. They have also preformed at the Central Canadian Exhibition as well as headlining events such as the RONA M. S. Bike tour for the past three years!

The Kemptville Advance says: "Local blues favourites Austin Fire delivered the goods ."

Got something you would like to tell the band? Have you seen one of our shows? Got comments on the shows? Got anything at all that you would like see on the site?
